Guests are always welcome to sit at the patio table and enjoy the garden. It is particularly nice in Spring and Summer, with the birds singing. There are a wide variety of garden birds visiting our garden every day, from tiny little bluetits to an occasional pheasant! We have managed to spot at least thirty different birds throughout the year, particularly so in the breeding season. You will find a little bird book on the window sill in the breakfast room to help you identify the various birds.
Wild deer can sometimes be seen from the Twin Room window, though this has usually been very early morning. There are lots of rabbits bobbing about over the open countryside and occasionally we see foxes. Ducks and geese regularly fly over and we sometimes see a heron, which looks rather like a terradactyl when in flight!
We hope you will enjoy the garden at Eastdale Bed and Breakfast.
There are many really pretty countryside settings within easy travelling distance of Eastdale Bed and Breakfast in Melton, such as Beverley Westwood, with its free roaming cattle, and also many other scenic places within and surrounding the Hull area.
