COVID-19 GUEST SAFETY MEASURES
We are strictly adhering to the Government guidelines which will enable us to protect all our guests. We will check body temperature on arrival, using a contactless forehead thermometer. The NHS Test and Trace QR code is displayed in the Entrance Hall for guests to scan if they have downloaded the NHS Covid-19 app on their phone.
As it is no longer mandatory to wear a face mask, we would appreciate it if guests could, if possible, still wear one on arrival and when moving through communal areas, such as the entrance hall, stairways and through to breakfast tables. The face mask can then be removed during breakfast and guests do not need to wear one when in their own rooms. I will be wearing a mask or visor whilst welcoming guests and also an apron and gloves whilst preparing and serving breakfast.
We are continuing to observe social distancing as far as possible.
Breakfast tables have been positioned to allow for social distancing, with staggered breakfast times where possible.
The self serve buffet will not be available - instead cereals, fruits, yoghurts, etc. can be ordered the night before, along with cooked breakfast choices, and then breakfast will be provided on an individual basis. However, depending on Government rules at the time, or if you prefer, we can offer a room service breakfast for you to enjoy in your own room, but please note that this does not include cooked options, apart from porridge.
We are regularly disinfecting all touchable surfaces. Rooms are deep cleaned between guests. All bed linen and towels are washed using Persil Hygiene, as well as blankets, scatter cushion covers (which have a disposable protector under the cover), duvet protectors, mattress protectors and pillow protectors.
Disinfectable laminated guest information sheets have replaced the welcome folder in guest rooms and all paper leaflets have been removed. Hand sanitisor gel is available in the Entrance Hall for use on entering the house and also in the Kitchen for use prior to entering the Breakfast Room.
Face to face contact can be limited during your stay by utilising phone or text messaging, should you have any queries.
